PeteBills4ever Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Just bought the Rotowire 2010 fantasy football magazine(needed something to chew on footballwise), here's their projections for Bills players: Trent Edwards 243 comp. 399 att. 2762 yds 13 tds 14 ints Ryan Fitzpatrick 65 comp. 112 att. 691 yds 5 tds 6 ints Fred Jackson 166 rush 752 yds 4.5 avg 4 tds / 26 rec 201 yds 0 tds C.J. Spiller 157 rush 715 yds 4.6 avg 3 tds / 52 rec 402 yds 1 tds M. Lynch 109 rush 451 yds 4.1 avg 3 tds / 14 rec 102 yds 0 tds Lee Evans 71 rec 1005 yds 14.2 avg 6 tds James Hardy 42 rec 511 yds 12.2 avg 4 tds Roscoe Parrish 25 rec 277 yds 11.1 avg 0 tds Shawn Nelson 19 rec 167 yds 8.8 avg 1 tds Rian Lindell 25/29 fgm 26/26 xpm 1 for 50+ 101 pts Paul Posluszny 112 tack 1 sack 1 int Andra Davis 92 tack 1 sack 0 int Bryan Scott 75 tack 2 sack 1 int George Wilson 62 tack 1.5 sack 3 int Jairus Byrd 60 tack 1 sack 6 int 1 td Aaron Maybin 45 tack 4 sack 1 int Bills defensive rank: 23rd Few observations: -All this can change since we still don't know the starters 100%, especially QB although the stats can still look the same whoever is starting. - I expect a better season from Nelson - With the projected stats for Scott,Wilson and Byrd they don't expect Whitner to get that much playing time
shoemannn Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Hi guys. Tim from RotoWire here. We actually agree with your views on Nelson and Whitner and are going to adjust/add their projections this week. I think Nelson could have a 25-400-4 type of year, and Whitner should win the starting job while taking away some of the value of Scott and Wilson. As weird as this sounds, while this is one of the NFL's better secondaries, on an individual level they may cancel out a lot of the value each might have as an IDP guy. Of course, injuries always seem to make one or two guys a great IDP play. Right now, I'd go Byrd, Whitner, Scott and then Wilson. Anyway, thanks for supporting the magazine, and if either of you wants some comp access to our service in return for being so cool about it, just paste this message and write support@rotowire.com and we'll set that up for you. Thanks again! TIM SCHULER, COO, ROTOWIRE
