voodoo poonani Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 born in Lewiston '83 raised in Cambria St. Joe's Collegiate '01 ERAU in Daytona Beach until '05 Wichita, KS - present There are a whole lot of Broncos, Steelers, and Cowboys fans here. Chiefs fans don't bother to show up at the bars to watch the games anymore. About 4-8 Bills fans used to show up to the Buffalo Wild Wings near my house, but only one of them was from Buffalo.

Chalkie Gerzowski Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 In the autumn of 1912 I was dropped off in a golden basket, lined with luxurious white linens, by a Goth Mystic who resembled Morticia Addams... sent to a palatial estate on Tudor Place in the city of Buffalo. Some have said I am J. Pierpont Morgan's illegitimate son. Still going strong at 99 years of age.
Beerball Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 I was born a poor black child. I remember the days, sittin' on the porch with my family, singin' and dancin' down in Mississippi. I became a fan of the Buffalo Bills even though I had never been to WNY because I liked their uniforms best. That charging buffalo had me at hello.

I became a fan of the Buffalo Bills even though I had never been to WNY because I liked their uniforms best. That charging buffalo had me at hello. I was forced to play the piano by the Chumsey's. They were shareholders in Larkin Soap and the burgeoning Lackawanna Steel Co. Mr. Phineas T. Chumsey used to regale his time of looking Henry Ford in the eye and laughing at his fledgling "automobile" enterprise.

VADC Bills Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Howdy, neighbor! Northern VA (where my wife and I live) is sports-minded. Being so close to DC, the Caps, 'Skins, and Nat's are big here. Nothing beats the 'ol Pizza Junction pizza in NT- I think they are now called 'The Good Guys' and moved to the corner of Ruie and Nash(?). Man, each slice weighs like 5 lbs! Have you ever gone to Jimmy's in Herndon? I'm very familiar with Herndon, use to work there. Haven't been to Jimmy's although I have heard of it. Where exactly is it? Is it around Dulles access? I go to the Skin's and Wizards games quite frequently. Thank goodness for the NFL package where I can check out the Bills.

Jimmy's Old Town Tavern 697 Spring Street Herndon, VA 20170-5125 (703) 435-5467 I met Scott Norwood once down here in VA- he lives here now- and he gave me the card to go there, told me about Bills and Sabres games there, etc. It's atmosphere is as if a Buffalo bar was transplanted- Wizard of Oz-ish- into Herndon. Cool place. Nice Fish Fry. Molson and Labatt.
hondo in seattle Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Born (59) and raised in Cheektowaga. Between college, the army and other adventures, have lived in Missouri, Indiana, Kentucky, Georgia, Korea, California, etc. Have waved the Bills banner high where ever I've been. In fact, I've probably become even more of a Bills fan after leaving WNY. Missed the Bills first SB because I was deep in the Arabian Desert on an extended beachside vacation known as Desert Storm. One of my soldiers had a short-wave radio and woke me up at some ungodly hour to tell me he heard on the BBC that the Bills had won on a last second field goal. I spent agonizing hours trying to confirm that fact only to be heartbroken in the end. Now manage a restaurant franchise in Western Washington State.
