PromoTheRobot
Author of "American Splendor". Here's a guy that took his sch!tt life and tuned it into a popular comic book and movie. For all his problems his life turned out okay. Cleveland loses another son of the city. PTR
Cugalabanza
Wow! RIP, Harvey. Strange... I just watched the movie, American Splendor, yesterday. I was wondering about how he was doing. I made a mental note to check the web today about him. Ordinary life is pretty complicated stuff.

ajzepp
I saw this film a few years ago and was totally captivated by it. After seeing some of the real life clips and outtakes from Pekar, it really gave me an even greater appreciation for the brilliance of Paul Giamatti. What a fantastic character actor... Anyway, this guy is truly an original...I've been meaning to learn even more about him, so this is probably a good time to really get into his stuff a bit. RIP, harvey!
