hondo in seattle Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 PFT posted this: "WR Chad Jackson garnered a lot of notice for his performances at Bills minicamp this spring." Their source seems to be Adam Caplan's article on Fox: "According to player sources, former New England Patriots second-round pick WR Chad Jackson might have been the most impressive player from an offensive skill standpoint during post-draft workouts." Is anyone else hearing the same thing?
BillsGuyInMalta Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Here's hoping. We definitely need the help at WR.
H2o Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 See PFT's "One Liners" for this morning. They also say in the article that Jackson looks the part in camp, but isn't that great of a route runner. That has been the cause for his failure elsewhere supposedly. They're basically saying he may win a job by default because of our weak WR corps.

Is anyone else hearing the same thing? Let's hope Jackson or someone breaks out on the other side from Lee Evans, but reading about Jackson this is nothing new. He has always been a stellar practice player, but when the hitting starts he has had problems. He did the same thing in New England, but we can hope it will be different here.

If that is the case, that means both Jackson and Hardy can't run routes. Johnson, however, is known for his route running ability. What does that mean? I don't know...

What does that mean? I don't know... that's based on his scouting report now 3 yrs ago, we have no idea if he's improved on that or not.
