Police Nab "Barefoot Bandit"

Recommended Posts

Says the liberal who can't connect the dots between bleeding heart politicans who appoint judges and violent criminals ending up back on the street.

As for this kid, 5 years is plenty. Unless I missed something, his were only property crimes. Save the cell for violent offenders.

BINGO! You are exactly right!

Have you ever considered one of those wreaked planes might have represented someones life savings? And their way of earning a living?

Yes.

"...The teaching of non-attachment may be easy to understand, but it is not easy to practice..."

"...Our world is a world of desire. Every living being comes forth from desire and endures as a combination of desires. We are born from the desire between of our father and mother. Then, when we emerge into this world, we become infatuated with many things, and become ourselves well-springs of desire. Through desire we give rise to attachments. For every desire there is a corresponding attachment, namely, to the object of desire..."

Anyway... With attachment is where heatache occurs. I am not saying I don't fall into the trap of attachment, I very well do. :(

Here... I will post this again for you Jim...

Purify Your Mind

Such great advice! I do admit, it gets hard to think like this. Sorry to get all Zen on you! ;)

No, Of course... Even If I was one of them... Life in prison?

Anyway... Isn't it our American birthright to rebel against authority... Even if my home was robbed, who cares... I got insurance... But life in jail?

Everybody has their version of civil disobiedence, this guy's of course is a little over the top... He of course is no hero. He of course never used violent means and never hurt anyone physically... In fact, he threw his gun in the water, they shot at him.

Again... I am not sticking up for his actions... He did harm people's property.

Yeah, until some irreplaceable items are stolen or broken during the burglary.
