There was a cute girl on our floor freshman year that underwent a Maddow-like transformation once the softball team got a hold of her so we always joked about the potential impact of college athletics on women. She went to Castro Valley HS, which by no stretch of the imagination is well to do. Later her family moved to Danville, CA which is well off, but that is after she was in HS.
