PromoTheRobot Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 ESPN Well I guess since it's the Jets who may sign him, it will be called another brilliant off-season move by the 2010 Super Bowl champs. PTR
DrDawkinstein Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 it's only because Rex Ryan is trying to surround himself with people that make him look skinny
DrDawkinstein Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 or, version 2: it's only because Rex Ryan is after his mama's recipes
BuffaloBill Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 ESPN Well I guess since it's the Jets who may sign him, it will be called another brilliant off-season move by the 2010 Super Bowl champs. PTR Good for the Jests ... they deserve him.
Buffalonian-at-Heart Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I think you're right Promo, if the Bills were to sign him it would be a desperate move. But since its the all knowing Jets, its a brilliant move by an organization that with its structure can turn this young man around. I swear ESPN is getting as bad as MSNBC.

Grimace Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Cimini also notes the Jets remain interested in signing veteran Mark Brunell to be Mark Sanchez's backup... I thought this was a typo. Can't believe he's still playing. And he got a ring last year.
RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I thought this was a typo. Can't believe he's still playing. And he got a ring last year. He also just declared bankruptcy and needs a paycheck.
Jerry Jabber Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I'd figured Russell would be trying out for the UFL already.
DrDawkinstein Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 He also just declared bankruptcy and needs a paycheck. 15 years in the NFL, great salary, set to make a pension... what happened? he take financial advice from Travis Henry?
Gugny Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 15 years in the NFL, great salary, set to make a pension... what happened? he take financial advice from Travis Henry? Lenny Dykstra!!
H2o Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 HBO is putting together a new series. It will no longer be "Hard Knocks", no way. The new show will be called "Coach vs QB" in a weight loss contest. Shhhhh, don't tell Jamarcus that Rex already had surgery to give him a leg up in the competition.
Wagon Circler Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 15 years in the NFL, great salary, set to make a pension... what happened? he take financial advice from Travis Henry? Owe child support in eight different states is not financial advice.

RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 15 years in the NFL, great salary, set to make a pension... what happened? he take financial advice from Travis Henry? Actually, he and a bunch of friends invested in real estate... then watched it tank. Brunell apparently had committed himself to covering the losses, and can no longer do it.
The Dean Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 More like Faux news. "They report you decide" Beat me to it.
