When you have a good defense and offensive line, you can sign any back and receiver you want.

I absolutely guarantee I will shave my unibrow before tomorrow.

Tattoo on his leg???? You gotta be kidding me.. With the rumors of him losing a step or 2 since last year, Ill be surprised if hes on the team next year.

This guy always disappears during the postseason.

I think he has taken too many hits over the years and may be losing his head.

Plus Thomas Jones, Leon Washington & Shonn Greene is better backfield than Shonn Greene, LT and Joe McNight.

"Experts" talk about their free agent pick ups but in reality their backfield got worse and if Cromartie is still banged up they may not have helped them as much as it looks on paper.

I'm glad the Jets are talking Super Bowl in July.

It'll be that much sweeter when they don't live up to expectations in January.

It worked for Marvin Harrison. The disparity 'tween his regular season career numbers and his postseason figures is staggering.

Even Jets fans who attended their OTA's say he looks LaDone. If the Jets win a SB, it will be in spite of him, not because of him.

The Jets never live up to expectations.

LT has nothing left in the tank. He's got about three years of mileage more than Thomas Jones had.

This isn't really true when you look at his entire career. Also, you're not factoring in injuries, which plague most NFL players in the latter part of their (usually short) careers.

Here are the stats from his playoff games:

2004:

vs. the Jets: 26 carries for 80 yards; 9 catches for 53 yards

2006:

vs. the Pats: 23 carries for 123 yards and 2 TDs; 2 catches for 64 yards

2007 (he played hurt):

vs. the Titans: 21 carries for 42 yards and 1 TD; 3 catches for 19 yards

vs. the Colts: 7 carries for 28 yards; 1 catch for 20 yards

vs. the Pats: 2 carries for 5 yards; 1 catch for 1 yard (he left after the first possession)

2008 (hurt again):

vs. the Colts: 5 carries for 25 yards

2009:

vs. the Jets: 12 carries for 24 yards; 3 catches for 0 yards

Lest you cite declining production, check out the stats of any other NFL RB who has been consistent for as long as LT has and has as many carries. He has taken true beating over the years, and should be a first ballot hall of famer:

The Jets greatly surpassed expectations last year. Just saying.

You may be right about LT.
