BillsRUs Posted June 28, 2010 Share Posted June 28, 2010 I'm really excited to see this movie. It's based on one of my favorite MMA fighters - Matt Hamill. It's one of those triumph over adversity movies because in spite of being a deaf person, he went on to have a stellar amateur wrestling career at our very own Rochester Institute of Technology and is a gold and silver medalist at the deaflympics. He is now a mma fighter for the UFC and is always involved in exciting fights. In spite of his obvious disadvantage ( He cant hear his corner during fights among other things) the kid has always persevered through sheer will power and heart.
