The one he hit from 41 or so was right down the middle and would have been good from at least 60 yds.

He is so damn inconsistent. He also booted a kickoff out of bounds. :)

fine cut him. who do you propose we bring in?

good Kickers in today's NFL are scarce! I remember watching in the 70's and 80's and it seemed like teams had real good competitions during training camps with good strong legged youngsters coming out of college.

how many kickers in the league today can kick the ball into the endzone? not many.

Were there ANY positives on ST's tonight???

Good God... A missed FG, a Kick Off kicked OB, a blocked Punt, a long KO return allowed, a fumbled Punt return...What is that, the cycle for bad ST's play in a Game??? If only the onsides Kick had been returned by Indy for a TD, it could have been a clean sweep of poor ST's play...

Brutal... :)

Lindell's fundamental weakness is that he is "mediocre" from beyond 40 yards. Last season, I believe he was something like 5-9. Based on his track record, you might as well flip a coin when he is kicking from 40+.

Listen here. I was at the game. Lindell looked good. He had plenty of distance on the 49 yarder and didn't miss by much. He has look real good all preseason. He sure beats the heck out of Shafer. The out of bounds kickoff was called to the corner. So he missed by a few yards. Vanderjagt did the same thing a few minutes before. Would you cut him?

Who replaces lindell then? Is TD going to get into a bidding war over gary anderson? He can come full circle if the bills get him. Seriously, who can replace lindell?
