Are you going to use this in every post? We know there are many questions with this team but instead of repeating yourself every damn day, some of us actually look forward to football season , see what happens and try to enjoy it.

Not every post. He uses the "cool aid" line in the others.

So now we're name calling? Good one! And in caps for emphasis. How old are you? I never said they were going to be good. We are also tired of your same old crap.

Hey Mr. Nucci, when you support the guy who called me a douche bag what do you expect me to do?

The thing you just don't get is that I am sick and tired of hearing the fans here (maybe not you) say how good this team is going to be?

I have just as right to post my negative post as other do with their positive post. Believe it or not many do agree with what I have to say?

Understand. However, there are many who are also sick of hearing how this team is going to suck. It works both ways. They may suck but I am still looking forward to watching this team play.

I completely understand where you and many others are coming from. Hell, I don't even like talking about how poorly we might do.It isn't fun. However, I do feel compelled to response to comments I don't agree with (mostly upbeat and IMO unrealistic comments). I know this is not a popular position or stance here but it is what I think and believe. I too and looking forward to watching us play.

I guess we can disagree to disagree.

My favorite quote in a Few Good Men "you can't handle the truth."

The guy who said that in that movie was a fanatic lunatic who condoned a murder that resulted from his orders, then tried to cover it up.

I'm just saying.....

In reply to an earlier post....

How can anyone get sick of someone else being optimistic?? People get sick of negative crap not positive hope. I don't think the guys that are voicing negative things are being "realists" but are rather only fairweather fans. Sick of the fairweather fans" b***ing.

Easy. Listening to people talk about how we are going to make it to the playoffs before anyone has put a pad on just because of "positive hope" is just as lame as someone thinking we are going to go winless. There is no basis in fact for either of those 2 extremes ... at least not yet. It is very easy to get sick of either one. And in fact, based on the last ten years I'd also say that of the two, the negative person is closer to being the realist.

CodeMonkey, you summed up what I have been trying to say over and over. It was like poetry to my ears.....

In regards to Chan's plans for training, Chan said he plans to have the practices 2, 1, 2, 1. Jauron barely had 2 a day practices, which is partly why the Bills were unprepared to start most of the seasons during his tenure (also another famous Jauronism: "I wish we had more time"). Maybe the Bills will be actually prepared to start the season for a change.

Hey Jerry nice post and I agree we should be tougher and more prepared. I think that was the gist of your post.

I liked your quote with Jauron. Easy to bash a coach after he was unsuccessful huh? Wondering if that's what everyone was saying after his first year and after we almost made the playoffs and after we started out 5-1 a couple of seasons ago. How quick are we to forget. Don't get me wrong I don't like the guy after what he did with the Bills. Just easy to bash a guy when he's down.

I remember when the Sabres first hired Scotty Bowmen. Boy was I excited! I thought for sure he was going to lead us to a stanley cup victory. We all know what happened before and after he departed. Two words STANLEY CUPS. Was he a bad coach? Was he a bad Sabres coach? What happened? Did he not have the right system and or players?

I just feel like Coach Gailey is in a real difficult situation. I have a quote Gailey might be using too. "I wish I had the quality players to win." Pretty "catchy" huh?

A linr I haven't used in awhile. What do you guys think?

Unless you can predict the future, which you can't, all you have to go on is someone's body of work. Jauron was an uninspired hire, but the pickin's were slim for experienced head coaches in 2006. Every other team that year ended-up hiring a coordinator, and the Bills had just fired their 2nd consecutive coordinator-turned-head coach, so they weren't going to go that route again.

In his first season, with wholesale changes, the Bills improved by 2 games over the previous season. So there was some reason for optimism. The 2008 season started promisingly enough, but the team fizzled down the stretch. Jauron's schemes were mostly to blame, as the Tampa-2 was becoming passe, while his desired offense was lame. He was a classy guy, but isn't HC material.

There is some reason for optimism with Gailey. He knows offense. And he had a successful, albeit brief, HC'ing career. And the Bills will be running the new trend in defenses in the 3-4. Will it succeed? We'll have to wait and see. But the Bills have more quality players than you think. But that's the thing with changing schemes; you can't do it all in one off-season.

getting this thread back on track...

I really like the fact that Chan isn't naming a QB before camp. keept he competition up as it is the only way these guys might improve. keep 'em hungry, keep 'em motivated. and he seems to be doing the same thing for other positions as well.

hopefully, we'll come into camp and have a very competitive, very physical summer. let the team bond while hitting each other and stay mean for the real games. then we might actually be ready to whip some ass in the 4th quarter for once.

i like it.

I have an idea of what this team is going to look like. A team that needs a QB, and offensive left and right tackle, two wide receivers, a pass rusher, and someone who can stop the run...I am excited too!

-We have 4 QB's on our roster,

-When we had a LT we weren't exatly winning games any more games than we were 'without one' .

-Last year we had TO paired with Evans and were still one of the worst offenses in the NFL.

-We managed to put a decent amount of pressure on opposing QB's hence the 28 INT's.

-A major overhaul in the defensive front seven as well as changing to the 3-4 just occured. We don't know about our pass rush or ability to stop the run THIS YEAR.

Quit being such a negative bandwagoner and start seeing the glass as half full instead of half empty. New coaches, new manager, new philosophy of defense, offense and THE MOST DYNAMIC ROOKIE OF THE ENTIRE NFL DRAFT IS NOW ON OUR ROSTER.........there is ALOT to be excited about!!!

I think the bills will be new and improved this year, but questioning a fan's loyalty because he thinks the bills will suck again is a bit lame. They have blown ass for a decade, promoted from within again, and hired a HC who was canned as an offensive cooridinator in the preseason last year. That, couple with the fact that they did not address the need positions yet could definitely be recipe for disaster....only time will tell.

Nice avatar. Gotta love faux Commies.

I love historical fact.

Even Slate thinks Che-worship is retarded.

Seems everyone who saw the man in real life thought him a bloodthirsty criminal.

Thank God for the National Review. Hilarious!

So, I don't know if you're mocking the "Che is Cool" crowd, but if you're not, I hope you found the above links enlightening.

It does work for me but the fans here certainly don't like it. I think I must be one of most disliked one here. Oh well.....I have to be true to who I am. I was posting positive things and trying to believe my lies and I just couldn't do it...

Ahhh the old "I am not a negative douche that nobody can stand, I am a realist" argument. Classic. As far as being "one of most disliked one here," you need to remember that you aren't that important. There are 1000's of disenchanted miserable pricks just like you, many of whom are far more scathing than yourself.

Be true to who you are...you do you, son. You seem to be doing well with that. However, as the little window to your soul opens, and we all see the hurt child inside, it would be easier if you just told us who hurt you. Who did this to you? A problem shared is a problem solved, and then, maybe only then, you will be able to truly be true to yourself.

 chin up, bucco!!
