BLZFAN4LIFE
Yeah, give the guy a break. Shaking down an international oil company and touting a .3% drop in unemployment is exhausting work. Even God needed the seventh day off.

DC Tom
phew, I feel better, how about you? Oh Christ... Criticizing Obama for golfing during the oil spill is as stupid as criticizing the CEO of BP for sailing: neither guy can actually do anything directly to address the issue, their role is to talk and throw money at it. That either of them spends four hours on a recreational pursuit has exactly NO real, practical impact on the situation.

PTR - Not too sure how dead oil rig workers get brought up in a little light-hearted ribbing of the Prez. People die every day, at work, at war, suddenly, and tragically. Should I be in constant mourning?
DC Tom
Should I be in constant mourning? It was a year ago today (roughly) that a DC Metro train crashed and killed seven people. I kid you know, I heard all morning from relatives of the dead how Obama is "disrespecting them" because he hasn't called and offered his condolences on the anniversary of the crash. So...yes, apparently. (note to PTR: this is DC. These are NOT Republicans complaining.)

But you have to at least enjoy the humor found when a person (Emmanual) who works for one guy goofing off publically criticizes the other guy for goofing off because, y'know, he shouldn't be goofing off at this critical time. Right, BP destroyed the gulf so US taxpayers should pay for it. makes sense, because I'm sure you'd calmly deal with Obama saying tax dollars will be used to scrub pelicans.
