2005 NFL FA's

John Abraham.....

The Jets just resigned Ellis to top 10 DE money, he had top 5 before season started and declined it, I guess that backfired on him....

ABE will test the market this offseason...I hope we can snatch him up...I like Kelsay but this guy can change a game by himself

It's pretty funny when that happens. In 2003, the Colt's DE Chad Bratzke held out and hit the FA market. Nobody bit, and he resigned with Indy for less $ than they originally offered him.

He's out of NFL football this season...

no way we are going to land antonio gates, you know that the redskins would sign him for like 2892092 million, plus, I think Gates is only in his 2nd year, which i believe would mak ehim an exclusive rights free agent or restricted FA at the end of the year, so you know the Chargers wouldn't let him go for anything less than a 1st, not to mention he's their best reciever.

On that list I like Andre Carter and Abraham even though our ends have played solid this year. Theres also a high number of above average but not great lineman.
