ExiledInIllinois Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 That could be quite frustrating when it was your last quarter/dollar/whatever. Jack notes that in the vid (which I didn't even notice) people had cups, so maybe it is meant to be used at a location with cups (which solves the sync issue). I want to use my sippy cup! Camelback makes a nice "adult version" with a "bite block"...
ExiledInIllinois Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 Looked like a theatre lobby or food court in the vid. Can't see this as a viable alternative to the stand alone bottled drink dispenser. Open top cups aren't as convenient as bottles (or sippy cups for that matter). It is a cool use of technology though. Good points! For some reason I thought it was replacing stand alone... I don't know why, "coin operated" seemed to be hanging me up. Yet, they must have intentions for going satnd alone???
The Dean Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 Camelback makes a nice "adult version" with a "bite block"... Outstanding! http://www.camelbak.com/sports-recreation/...ds-bottles.aspx Looks a damn sight better than these.

My daughter has this one They do make them in solid colors and bigger volume... EDIT: That is the "black butterflies" theme to the above link.

You gotta admit, the young one's have pretty cool stuff now... Also, I think they have one's that look like a "Grateful Dead" art theme.

I see no reason it couldn't dispense into a bottle and either screw a cap on for you or dispense one separately.
