BuffaloBill Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Starting in '78: Devo - Satisfaction The Police - Roxanne The Cars - My Best Friend's Girl Ramones - I Wanna Be Sedated 1979 will follow... I hate to admit that my age allows me to relate to this list all too well.
Fingon Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 I could never get into modern pop/rock. I can't stand the whiny singers that dominate the charts today. (i graduated CHS a few years ago) AC/DC B.O.C. Bob Dylan Boston CCR DMB Eagles Clapton Iron Maiden Satriani Hendrix Johnny Cash Journey Kansas Zeppelin Nirvana Pearl Jam Sound Garden Alice in Chains Floyd Queen Ramones Red Hot Chili Peppers Steppenwolf Allman brothers The Beatles The Clash The Killers Rolling Stones Velvet Underground The Who Tom Petty Eminem Tupac Biggie Metallica There are a lot more, but that's a big enough list. I was into a lot of Ska and punk bands as well.
