I have recently decided Sebadoh III is one of the most influential albums ever. I would say once a week or so I get an LP or single by a band that totally rips that album off. HoZac Records seem to only release albums that sound vaguely like Sebadoh III. Gives me hope for the future.

If you listen to "rock radio" take note of how much of their playlists, even today, are from songs older than 1995....

 

Honestly, they play almost nothing from the past 10-15 years - it's like it didn't exist.....
