Peters claims he DID report on that play where the Bills were penalized. Perhaps the referee forgot, and the NFL will be apologizing for the referee's short term memory disorder, or Peters' Wonderlic is as low as claimed.

Nonetheless, Peters has the perfect position for him, as the Tackle-Eligible inside the red zone. He is quick and has decent hands to catch a pass a la Ben Coates, but he can stay in and block, too. An opponent needs to take Peters into account when defending against the Bills--a LB or Safety isn't going to be able to take him on if he's blocking, so a lineman needs to be occupied with him if he stays in to block. That takes one lineman away from Jennings or Williams, and McG slips right in there.

Plus, if Tom Brady was so good why did he last until the 6th round???

Heck, the Bills drafted WMG in the 1st round and Cincy drafted Rudi Johnson in the 4th.

One never knows..

I think we have to consider that the mental part of the game is daunting for most rookies. few are going to take on a project in sept from another team with different terminology and routines and expectations. it just might be that pro football is hard

I'm not sure what it looked like on TV, or whether it was even mentioned, but the Bills ran a tackle eligible play for him in the second half and he was WIDE open about 15 yards down the field. Drew never saw him and just threw the ball away as DB was running toward the sideline. I suppose it wasn't really a tackle eligible as he lined up as a 2nd or 3rd TE, next to the tackle I believe, but he had to report (due to his number) and the Seahags still didn't cover him. He looked to be moving pretty fast to me, too.
