John as I said, you have a right to your opinion, I'm just glad I don't live in your world. Awful black and white, so to speak. PS you might want to check on the definition of condescending. My attitude toward ML has been anything but condescending.

Your attitude toward ML certainly is condescending. You are basically saying that the normal behavior standards shouldn't be applied to him because of his inner city background. For people like yourself you will accept a more rigorous standard than for the poor boy down the block. If you don't like the word condescending then let me change it to patronizing.

No matter how you want to categorize ML and his background he is acting like an immature and self-absorbed brat. He is acting like he is a victim of the system instead of being a victim of his own foolish behavior.

Fish, that was a good post. I am hoping that Lynch can be productive and his mind is focused on playing for the Bills...

However, I concur that it looks like Lynch wants out of Buffalo. Wondering how much of affect the Spiller pick has to do with that mindset?

Thanks.

One would have to assume some degree of 'writing on the wall' with respect to the Spiller pick, in Lynch's mind.

really? with respect, is it so easy to be dismissive, when you add into the equation that this is a first-round draft pick?

jw

correct - oh wait - that makes him a first-round draft pick that is third on the depth chart - so i guess the original poster was correct also - why the fuss over a rb who is third on the depth chart.

Can Lynch read?

He went to the University of California @ Berkely, majoring in "Social Welfare." He left after his junior year to jump to the NFL.

So the answer is, "maybe."

Rightly or wrongly, it is more a story about production. The 1st round pick was obviously outplayed by a street free agent after his suspension by the league. Instead of motivating him to excel, the suspension seemed to have backfired and motivated him to sulk.

Can the big block lettering be any more clear? He's going to have to prove to the new regime that he wants to play football and strive for his personal best. So far, he's acted utterly clueless.

I don't think the NFL suspension had anything to do with 'motivating' Lynch on the field.

Anyways, it still stands...when challenged instead of handed a position, Marshawn has decided that not showing up is the best course.
