San Jose Bills Fan Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Bob Prosser from East Pier Marina in North Tonawanda. Guy's always flashing a big roll every time I see him at the bar.
Griswold Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 How about WNY seceding from NY state? Make a state without cronyism politics and resulting taxes. With less cronies and taxes.. Bflo economy would boom, and the Bills would thrive. Crazy talk on my part, I know. Go BILLS. I love you Bflo.. give me an economic reason to come back home.

Chalkie Gerzowski Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Sad but true. And Golisano doesn't even live in Rochester anymore. Who wants to lose thousands a day to the Hammer and Sickle flag in Albany.
KD in CA Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Ive said all along that I think it's gonna be Donald Trump... I hope not. Trump would move the Bills out of Buffalo so fast it would leave skid marks.
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 That is the funniest post I have seen on this board in 2010. Lets support this type of wit and elect Chalkie, Funnies Post. Seriously laughed out loud. some Schoellkopf descendant or an ostracized Jacobs cousin.
saundena Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 I hope not. Trump would move the Bills out of Buffalo so fast it would leave skid marks. no. He'd keep them in place until he could build a stadium and casino with hotel in the ny side of the falls
KD in CA Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 no. He'd keep them in place until he could build a stadium and casino with hotel in the ny side of the falls Never happen. Not enough spotlight in Buffalo for Trump.
abqmarko Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 You're off on a couple, Koscheck was from PA, Hamill is from OH. But you forgot one key one in the world of MMA- Rashad Evans from Niagara Falls(granted he lives in Michigan now). True on Hamill but he wrestled at U of R and trains and resides in a smaller town outside of Rochester. I thought Koschek was in upstate for awhile in Highschool-not sure though

Just checked Koscheks bio, he taught wrestling at a Catholic School Erie Prep and then spent 1 1/2 years as the assistant wrestling coach at U of Buffalo
bills in va Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 The hermit miser in WNY you seek is named Bill Pummel. He's a billionaire who lives in his car in Jamestown's west side, not sure if he's a Bills or even a football fan but fits the bill otherwise.
dwight in philly Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 I hope not. Trump would move the Bills out of Buffalo so fast it would leave skid marks. where would he take them?
sweatpantsjoe Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 I hope not. Trump would move the Bills out of Buffalo so fast it would leave skid marks. No he wouldn't. Trumps favorite team is the bills and he's good friends with jim kelly. I would love for him to own the team.
KD in CA Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 where would he take them? Pretty much anywhere would be an improvement from his perspective, but L.A. is the obvious answer. And Trump's only favorite team is: Trump. Look what he did to his beloved Jersey Generals; he sunk the whole ship in an attempt to force the NFL's hand (which is probably the main reason he'd never be a candidate for ownership). He is not a man to be trusted with your heart and soul.

To be honest, I wonder how welcome he would be as an NFL owner considering his history in pro football? PTR
saundena Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Trump is not someone you'd want anywhere near the Bills. To be honest, I wonder how welcome he would be as an NFL owner considering his history in pro football? PTR I agree that he may not be welcomed back into the NFL- no arguements there. I just think he is Jim Kelly's Ace in the Sleeve. Trump is a Bill fan. He and Kelly go way back. Now consider the the allure of a new stadium and casino located in The NY side of the Falls. . . . All irresistable things to the Donald. I'll welcome anyone- regardless of their history- as a Bills owner as long as they promise to keep the team in Western NY

He is not a man to be trusted with your heart and soul. Seriously. People think Ralph is only keeping the Bills because they are making him super rich. I'm sure Trump won't be concerned about making money and would just keep the team here because of the history. Jeremy Jacobs and Bob Rich have some loot. I wonder if they could put together a package.
uticaclub Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 hamill was fighting out of utica, the last i knew. he owes a gym and used to be a bouncer there too.
KD in CA Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Trump is not someone you'd want anywhere near the Bills. To be honest, I wonder how welcome he would be as an NFL owner considering his history in pro football? PTR My assumption is the owners have long memories and would never allow Trump to buy a franchise given his past lawsuit against the NFL.
a player to be named later Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Jacobs and Golisano seem like the only ones that could lead a team. They both have buffalo ties and enough backing. Who says that it needs to be a buffalo business person. What would be wrong with having a Canadian owner? Toronto most likely has more billionaires than Buffalo. Just because someone is from Canada doesn't mean that they will want to move it there. The New Jersey Nets have a Russian owner he doesn't want to move it there.
