Just Jack Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 no, not the food, the Shrek glasses.... McDonald's to recall 12 million 'Shrek' glasses, citing cadmium health risks
Steely Dan Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 no, not the food, the Shrek glasses.... McDonald's to recall 12 million 'Shrek' glasses, citing cadmium health risks Thanks, I just emailed that to all of my friends with kids.
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 This sucks. America's children are already cadmium-deficient as it is. We're falling behind the rest of the world in cadmium!
Just Jack Posted June 4, 2010 Author Posted June 4, 2010 I wonder how this will affect sales on EBay of the glasses.
Steely Dan Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 I wonder how this will affect sales on EBay of the glasses. It will probably make them more valuable in the future because a lot of them are going to be returned. JMO
/dev/null Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 This sucks. America's children are already cadmium-deficient as it is. We're falling behind the rest of the world in cadmium! The only time American children got their dose of Cadmium was when the Cadmium Bunny visited at Easter
DC Tom Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 Well, in their defense, it's not like they're allowed to use lead anymore...
ExiledInIllinois Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 This is only the new Shrek glasses right? That is my understanding... I have one from years ago that is so worn out... I drink out of it daily... The wife hates it, but it was free. Probably explains my problems!
ExiledInIllinois Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 The thing that gets me... Looking at glasses and such (remember many years ago with the McD's glasses and lead paint scare?)... The paint/coating is not where the lips touch when drinking? I know it is close, but can that be a problem indirectly?
