VanCity Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 I once saw Randy Moss drop a pass too, at which point I realized that he sucked. I once saw Andre Reed drop a pass after which I struggled to understand why he still had a job. I also once saw some half-wit with three too many posts unleashing his ignorance for all to see, and realized that he was an idiot. Quite simply put....what he said.
DrDawkinstein Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 have always liked Chad. just seems like a "real" person. even with all the celebrity and personality and ego and limelight that comes along with the job. he's able to not only deal with it, but revel in it, AND stay true to himself and the game and the fans.
stuckincincy Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 He does it to take away the stress from the press on his team mates. They follow him and his BS and they leave the team alone. I remember a couple years back they talked with a couple people in his neighbor hood. They said he is always in by say 9-10pm and NEVER causes any issues. AFAIK, he doesn't drink or smoke. He seems to have returned to "normal". As a poster here mentioned, he did have a period of short-arming, and running bad routes...that was when he wanted to be traded and CIN said no. One thing for sure - he's always been fearless. I've seen him take hellacious hits through his career - here's one from last season, week#5 against BAL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4KZnxHFrVk
