Interesting concept. I know Radiohead did something like this with their "Rainbow" album -- you could pay however much you wanted to download the entire album. I think I paid $5 for it; I had only heard one or two Radiohead songs in the past, so without that promotion I probably wouldn't have bought the album at all.

 

Now someone is applying the same concept to food.

I can see some people taking advantage of this, like when Dennys does their free breakfast promotion. I would hope most people, like the person in the article, will give what the meal/items would normally cost.
