I don't think this 5th round pick has been criticized. Also, if the he was in such demand, and Falcons and Giants wanted him badly as you say, why was he still there in the 5th round? I like the pick, but let's not get carried away about how badly he was wanted.

You could think a player is far above everyone else left on the board, or a player could just fit your scheme and have good upside. If the Giants were telling him he was going to be selected with their next pick that says a lot. It tells me that Moats was at the top of their board at that time. Not to mention that if the Falcons were willing to trade future draft picks for him, then you know that they thought highly of him.
