PearlHowardman Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 The Bills lost not because of Norwood, but because of Marv Levy and Jim Kelly. Levy for not adjusting the game plan to counter Belichick, and Kelly for being too stubborn and egotistical to give Thurman the ball more, because Thomas was running roughshod over the Giants. No, Kelly wanted to be Super Bowl MVP and win it with the no-huddle K-gun. That's why we lost. PTR The Giants were underrated and the Bills were overrated. Had the 49ers won the NFC championship then the Bills would have lost Super Bowl XXV by at least 10 points, IMHO. Most importantly, had Jim Kelly given the ball to Thurman more, we would have won SB XXV. It was Kelly's fault - nothing to do with the coaches. Less importantly, Thurman Thomas was to blame for the Bills losing the 4th Super Bowl. THAT was the game that we should have won.
