KD in CA
His average was a decent 23.6 last year. Personally, I don't want to see our future game breaking RB getting banged up on KO returns, so I don't see how it hurts to try someone else out for that role. KD in CA
Does he wear jewelry when he plays? LOL...not sure how that happened! Oh well, a comment on our 4th string RB is probably just as useful here as in the appropriate thread.
Wacka
Probably for safety. My dad worked in a food warehouse. A guy climbed up the racks to adjust boxes on a pallet he wsa going to bring down. He jumped down, and his school ring got caught on the metal racks. Tore the meat off the bone. They couldn't reattach it and tried an experimental procedure to grow a finger out of chest muscles (in early 70s). The guy had problems with the finger and had to get it cut off several years later. After that, no rings except wedding bands in the warehouse.
ExiledInIllinois
I don't understand the reason for the rule in the first place. What competitive advantage does wearing jewelry have? There probably is no advantage... Most likely a safety issue. Just IMO.

Lurker
Someone really needs to give that dude's house the Coach Nickerson treatment. Agreed. Somehow I suspect this guy will be the ultimate loser in this affair... Looks like he's had a checkered past himself. TV news followup
Doc
I don't blame the coach, since he was on the other end 10 years ago. Maybe if that hadn't happened, he wouldn't have pointed out the infraction.

Steely Dan
In more ways than one That's disgusting. How can you think about a young beautiful nubile young high school senior like that?

BB27
I don't have a problem with this. The rule is pretty clear, the competitor failed to abide by it, so she should be disqualified. Remember, rules are rules, and they are important. You guys will probably want to legalize drugs too.
