Alaska Darin
I especially liked the "more protests are scheduled" line. Can you really call it a protest if no one shows up?

Wacka
I figured out what happened. That evil genius carl Rove spread a rumor that the NHL had ended the lockout. All the protesters were watching the TV to see if it was true.
BillsNYC
Oops....maybe not. More 'journalists' than protesters? http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...sh_041130133139 139312 CNN was just showing the Bush Highlights in Canada today. They ended the report with "And for the second day in a row, protestors came out against Bush and the US" They left out the fact that there were more reporters than protestors....typical liberal bias... /dev/null
i caught an audio clip of bush on the protesters. he played it down and said he appreciated the warm welcome at the airport and the crowd of waving canadians...most using the other 4 fingers too
Gene Frenkle
Really? Which ones are the reporters? 141775 Don't confuse them with the facts - let them have their fun while sticking their heads in the sand. Everyone knows that the rest of the world loves Dubya and is quite happy to see him re-elected, especially Canada...GEEZ!!! I'm assuming that was the whole point of this thread, right? Canada's love affair with Georgie Boy?
Alaska Darin
Who cares either way? Seriously? Look at the signs. Fallujah is a "Killing Field"? With a picture of women and children in it? Didn't they evacuate the women and children before going in to kill a bunch of terrorists? "President Dink?" That's beautiful. If the guy protesting was in 5th grade. No matter what a US President does, one side is going to think it's great and one side is going to think it's totally wrong. These same people didn't protest the war in Bosnia... Until people start understanding that turning over tremendous power to government bureaucrats leads to lotsa bad consequences, nothing will change. Protest the right thing. Protest the right thing. 142458 Actually, I'd bet a lot of them did protest the war in Bosnia after the US entered it. It seems a common - and stupid - perception that, as a NATO exercise it was perfectly legal and warranted, but as soon as the US entered it, it became yet another example of "American aggression". Simple fact is...these people are simply anti-American. They'd have protested if Kerry was there. Probably with better signs ("President Dink"???)...but they would have turned out nonetheless. KD in CA
These same people didn't protest the war in Bosnia... Well that's just cause it wasn't fashionable to protest then, right Jeanne?
Gene Frenkle
At least "who cares either way" is honest. The whole premise of this thread sucks.
