Just Jack Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 I guess golf isn't the best method of recovery from addictions, as LT claimed it was for him. Golf has never been the answer for lifes problems like addictions (drug/sex) and finding killers.
VADC Bills Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Better. Pimps don't generally discuss the details of recruitment with customers. Still makes him a sleaze, though. If he did it. Where is the pimp and hooker screening reform bill when you need it. Once again congress is dragging their feet. I'm all for putting date of birth and reference details on hooker applications in the future. I always thought that famous athletes, actors and rock stars would not have to go the prostitution route. There was always a groupee type of following....look at Larry King.
boyst Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Just some interesting points: -16 is the legal age of consent in N.Y. It is doubtful that the feds would pick up charges to enforce the federal legal age of consent being 18. ESPN just reported her being 16. -The girl was texting her uncle on the trip to the hotel to visit LT? That just sounds insane, what dumby pimp would allow the girl the cell phone to do that??? -She ran away from home, where are the parental charges? Did they notify the police or anyone? Is anyone going to look in to her living conditions? -The pimp seems to have broken the majority of the crimes. -Prostitution prosecution is entirely selective. Ashley Dupre should have been charged, for example.
bbb Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Golf has never been the answer for lifes problems like addictions (drug/sex) and finding killers. Yeah, but I guess it's worth a shot....
Just Jack Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 The Insider (one of those cheaply made, sensationalized , half hour "news" shows) has an interview tonight with LTs wife, some highlights... - she wonders why a teenager girl is solicitating sex with a 51 year old man - she doesn't believe he did it - says he won't invite people back to his room because he's gotten in trouble for that before - knows what he likes in women, and this teenager does not fit what he likes
bbb Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Golf has never been the answer for lifes problems like addictions (drug/sex) and finding killers. per espn: the former Giants star will likely spend his time before his next court date in June playing golf
iinii Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 this is one horrible story on many counts, but let's not convict a man on a bunch of newspaper stories. None of us were there and none of us know the truth, whatever that may be.
Steely Dan Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Here's the latest; http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/05/07/lawren...x.html?hpt=Sbin (CNN) -- The man accused of bringing an under-age prostitute to ex-NFL player Lawrence Taylor told her to lie about her age, prosecutors alleged in a federal complaint against the man on Friday. The complaint says the alleged pimp, Rasheed Davis, told a 16-year-old prostitute to tell a "Client-1" that she was 19. The federal complaint against Davis does not refer to the former New York Giants linebacker by name, but the description of "Client-1" matches that of Taylor in the complaint against him. The rape charges filed against Taylor on Thursday are based on the allegation that he had sexual intercourse with a minor -- someone younger than 17. The complaint against Davis also alleges that he assaulted the prostitute to coerce her into having sex with the client who matches Taylor's description. In addition to the third-degree rape charges, Taylor -- a 51-year-old member of the National Football League Hall of Fame -- was charged Thursday with patronizing a prostitute, police in Ramapo, New York, said.
\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 His defense is that there was no rape...instead, he was J.O.: http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/lawrenc...XE4DKCnsodgIijN

Davis -- who was released from prison in 2008 after serving 15 years for manslaughter -- is now charged with federal child sex-trafficking, and could be sent back behind bars for life if convicted.
