The Big Cat
Right, Facebook does the same thing in its status updates now ... but only if the person is on your friends list, I think. Not sure about that, though. Exactly how do you foresee them being pinged? PM? Email? Other? It could be customizable. PM's and emails would probably be easiest for you. But as Lori mentions, it's a feature now on Facebook, and personally I like their soft notification system: when you log-on, an icon near the top of the site with a drop down indicator appears then dissolves after you click on it. But, again, that's just my own preference. A PM or an email notification works just as well, or you give people the option to not receive that email, and only get the PM's as they interface now. The Big Cat
I think he implied not using Twitter specifically. Right, but it's a Twitter method that can be applied to TSW user names. So, for example, in a post on TSW I'd write, "Boy the Bills sure are awesome, right @Lori?" And then the inclusion of the "@" turns "Lori" into hypertext while also pinging the user "Lori" that somebody has mentioned her.

eSJayDee
Will it work with mine? Latest tech I think that's actually the 2nd cellphone I had (1st was a much nicer Panasonic) IIRC, they each cost like $1k each (company paid for them). My, how times have changed. Now, phones have more non-volatile memory than PCs used to have!

Clippers of Nfl
Dude, I haven't upgraded this board's software for YEARS. I skipped like 10 versions. Eventually, it becomes a security risk as this version is no longer supported. Not to mention, the way people interact on the internet evolves over time.... so you're a lazy bum! forget you. just kidding. thx for your work and dedication.
