Mr. WEO Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 As far as light beers go, Coors Light is best. That's a monster contract. $1B? Wow. And the NFL wants to lengthen the season to make more money? Greed knows no boundaries. Greed??
BillsFanNC Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 every try sam adams? horrible... much worse than anything bud makes A beer where you can actually TASTE malt and hops? The horror!!!
Philly McButterpants Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 As far as light beers go, Coors Light is best. That's a monster contract. $1B? Wow. And the NFL wants to lengthen the season to make more money? Greed knows no boundaries. Seriously? the best light beer?
Boom Jam Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Seriously? the best light beer? Yeah - seriously. Unless you've had about 18 or 20 of them... no headache in the morning.
wnyBacker Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 so what do they just replace one god awful beer with another beer that is even more sh****er? they probly prefer both coors and bud at nfl home games cause they are both basically water which makes it impossible to get lit up at the game (crowd control).
duey Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Gee...one bad beer replaces another. And the question is asked...who gives a s**t.
Poeticlaw Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 http://finance.yahoo.com/news/AnheuserBusc...set=&ccode= No more phallic shaped train beer commercials. I understand the NFL is Branding itself and trying to maximize revenue. However SXince the NFL is Made up of TWO conferences the AFC and the NFC why cant the have BUD and COOrs and two other named beers then have them go head to head in the superbowl ads. Same with Reebok and NIKE. Its just makes more sense to take on Two then to alienate all but one.
DanInUticaTampa Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Not Utica Club Dan? Yuengling is served in Lot A... Can't say I am a fan of it. It is just a nice piece of history I guess. I do like other saranac beers. Saranac just isn't very cost effective down here in FL. Though much to my surprise, it is pretty easy to find. Except at bars.
Ever Since '86 Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Yuengling needs to be the main sponsor One of the few respectable american brews. Coors light = water/ something my chick drinks when she has a hangover Bud light = armpit of beers
San Jose Bills Fan Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Bud Light is a horrible beer, but they have great commercials
Wooderson Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 every try sam adams? horrible... much worse than anything bud makes What? Is that some kind of a joke? Sam Adams is really good and usually a draft favorite of mine.
CountDorkula Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 What? Is that some kind of a joke? Sam Adams is really good and usually a draft favorite of mine. Sam Adams Cherry Wheat draft! Sam Adams Summer Ale

Wooderson Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Sam Adams Cherry Wheat draft! Sam Adams Summer Ale I picked up my first case of Summer Ale yesterday....it went down nice as I was BBQs the ribs! I went to a Tops last Friday hoping that the Summer Ale would be in stock. Unfortunately I look and there's still Noble Pils...I was about to walk away but decided to check behind the Noble before I left. To my surprise there was one 12 pack of Summer Ale sitting in the back. It was awesome.
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 I'm sure Coors or Bud Light are just fine... once you've taken some hot coals and burned off all your tastebuds.
rackemrack Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 What? Is that some kind of a joke? Sam Adams is really good and usually a draft favorite of mine. no joke, its just not my kind of beer, i really prefer molson canadian, or molson golden.
DanInUticaTampa Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 no joke, its just not my kind of beer, i really prefer molson canadian, or molson golden. I think it is understandable if it isn't your kind of beer..... but being "better than anything that bud makes" is a little different. The only thing that bud has over it is that it is cheaper and it doesn't fill you up as much. But taste wise? yuuuck for bud.

Imagine how fun it would be if saranac thursday and a bills tailgate could become one.
