Mike in Horseheads Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Wow the world in the NFL has gone crazy! http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5148880
earthtobrint Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 They had him under contract for this season already. The Eagles gave him a one year extension, making it a two year deal at $6.125 million a year. $12.25 million is the total amount not the per year amount.
CarolinaBill Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 also keep in mind, its an uncapped year so this is probably the best deal for philly financially
Buftex Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 That is cheap for a starting NFL QB. They really seem to believe in Kolb, just doing their due diligence to prevent him from becoming a free agent, should he be as good as they think he will be...if not, they lose a few million in an uncapped year...
billsfreak Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Wow the world in the NFL has gone crazy!http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5148880 I think that $12 is over two seasons, not per year. Considering that they are only paying him about a half a million this year, and if they think he is going to be that good it isn't that bad a deal really. He is happy, they are happy, so they can start building for the present and the future, wouldn't that be nice if we could do that here?
