JPS Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 What an idiot I've crosschecked my mother harder than that. I can't fault him for that. I can fault him for his "milk-carton" play.
KD in CA Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Why on the earth is Tim Connolly even on the ice? He is the Roscoe Parrish of the Sabres -- utterly useless. I think I'm going to be glad the game isn't on TV here.

Mikeleelop Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Hey plays like a Kitty does no one else think the Boston guy dove/fell after the initial contact
Mike in Syracuse Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 It's hockey, no one cares Well outside of you and 15 other people....and Canada!
nobody Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 dont even dick around in that situation. Can't afford to go to a 4 on 3 If he had ever paid attention to this board he would have realized the 4-3 doesn't work for Buffalo teams.

I think I'm going to be glad the game isn't on TV here. Well, unlike Parrish, he does usually produce. Just had a horrible series.
1B4IDie Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Why on the earth is Tim Connolly even on the ice? 1.) There was barely contact, 2.) Boston player should have gotten a diving penalty. (They stop calling that in the playoffs) 3.) If Connolly's foot is injured that bad; why is he on the ice? If he is scratched in game 3 or 4 we win 1 or both. Its tough to pin it on 1 guy when Vanek and Connoly are both injured and Rask played well above his pay grade. But if anyone gets the blame its Connoly he played like a dude with prosthetic foot most of the series. Ruff should have benched him and let the Portland Pirates take a run at the Bruins. Miller should be pissed and ask for some real firepower. Bright spot was Gerbe looked like a baller!!! or is that pucker!!!??
EDinRTP Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 They actually called two diving penalties on Montreal last night.
Mr. ChumChums Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 They actually called two diving penalties on Montreal last night. Somehow, Kraft paid the refs, even though he has no stake in the Bruins. He just likes to see Buffalo fans suffer. That bastard.
clearwater cadet Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 If he had ever paid attention to this board he would have realized the 4-3 doesn't work for Buffalo teams. awesome, +1
Mr. ChumChums Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 awesome, +1 haha didn't even catch that until you brought it back.
DDD Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I'm not defending Tim but without him the Sabres probably don't make the playoffs. Same goes for othr whipping boys Roy and Pominville.
BuffaloBaumer Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Trade Roy (since some teams may actually want him), lose Stafford and either Lydman or Hank - then you get yourself a true #1 Center and move Connolly to where he belongs (2nd line) Done and done.....
mike oxhurtz Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 What an idiot When are the Sabres going to finally get rid of his injury prone, not show up in the playoffs azz?!
Jerry Jabber Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 The Sabres need to add some size to the team. They were getting bounced around like pinballs by Boston. I think it's time to move on past Connolly.
HelloNewman Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Why is this organization so much in love with this injury prone nobody? One good hit and he is out for half a season. worse than Rob Johnson for the Bills
KD in CA Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Why is this organization so much in love with this injury prone nobody? One good hit and he is out for half a season. worse than Rob Johnson for the Bills I have no idea. The guy is only healthy half the time, and when he is, he's a career underachiever. Giving up Peca for him =
