joey greco Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 And the Bills got kudos when they got Ko Simpson later than the "experts" said he should have been drafted. The only thing worth less than a Jerry Sullivan column is a draft day grade published hours after the draft ends.
jahnyc Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Why do people get so defensive when the football experts are critical about our drafts? Frankly, they have questionned most of our drafts over the last ten years, and they have been right for the most part. We will know in a couple of years whether this was a good draft. Hopefully Nix knows what he is doing.

The same sort of thing happened last year (the good picks at least). Wood, Nelson, maybe even Byrd all seemed to be BPA and we moved up for Levitre.
BobbyC81 Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Again, being graded on not following Mel Kiper and Todd McShay. Not really being graded on what they did do. The guys analyzing the draft who seem to know what they are doing on NFL Network really seemed to love this draft. Just saying. On NFL Network, Charles Davis gave the Bills a C+ and Corey Chavous gave then an A.
Green Lightning Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Pro Football Talk grades Bills as big losers in the draft. They say that the Bills draft gets poor grades because of the lack of getting an impact OT and QB in the draft. They grade Seattle and Oakland as the big winners. Yawn. They loved Donahoe's dynamic drafts and trade up/downs. We didn't. They're talking head list watchers who freak when ever a team doesn't pick the next guy on their list. They liked Maybin last year........Christ...who cares? Let's see if we're a better team next year.

If you draft enough good players eventually all that BS means nothing because your record will speak for itself...
