daquixers Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 1. Q: Is he washed up? A: possibly, but I cant say that yet 2. Q: Was he asked to learn an entire new offense in 3 weeks in training camp? A: Yes 3. Q: Does he have an entire new offensive game plan, coordinator, and coach? A: Yes 4. Q: Did he have a running back that did close to nothing for the first 5 weeks? A: Yes 5. Q: Does he deserve just ONE more chance to get it right A: YES. And this is why. I dont think Gregg Williams was a good coach. If he wasnt a good coach, how do you expect Bledsoe to be a good player when he is learning from a bad coach! I also dont think its fair to make him learn an entire new offense in 3 weeks, struggle early, turn it around and then lose his job. Ok. Now ICE, JP-Era and everyone else can rant on how he was terrible for 2 years, and I will say this "LOOK AT THE COACHES" QUOTE from ESPN Bledsoe managed to survive three interceptions Sunday but, in general, his play has been much better and he has gotten plenty of help from tailback Willis McGahee, who authored his fifth 100-yard outing in six starts. Amazingly, McGahee needs to average just 54.8 yards now to record his first 1,000-yard season
