papazoid Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 lol......c'mon Jake Locker i think we are the only team who will need a QB in the first round.....hehe EDIT: http://walterfootball.com/draft2011.php is it too early to start on next year?
ax4782 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Jake Locker. Mallett sucks. He was TERRIBLE with Michigan, could barely make reads and was not comfortable running Lloyd Carr's pro offense at all. He hasn't looked particularly good in his new home either. Locker is the best QB we could hope for, but he'll go first or second overall. I think it is very unlikely that the Bills will have a shot at him. If they draft Mallet, they're wasting another three years in mediocrity.

I think Locker will be the better QB, but that does not make Mallett suck. He did not fit the system that Michigan was implementing. He will be a good one as well.
CodeMonkey Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 who is gonna be looking for a QB next year? Probably most of the bottom 5 or 6 teams.
/dev/null Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 who is gonna be looking for a QB next year? Probably most of the bottom 5 or 6 teams. Like the Bills
boyst Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Will the top QB's still be there at the 32nd spot for us?
seq004 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Probably most of the bottom 5 or 6 teams. Like the Bills +1
Curse Of Rusty Jones Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Well, we will be picking 32nd so....
Lt. Dan's Revenge Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Will the top QB's still be there at the 32nd spot for us? What he said ^
Gibran Chandan Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Will the top QB's still be there at the 32nd spot for us? Pretty sure you don't pick 32nd when you finish with a losing record, chief.
/dev/null Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Well, we will be picking 32nd so.... Trading back into the 1st round?
Packerland Bills Fan Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Great. The 2011 draft is thin at offensive tackle. Guess they won't pick one high next year either.
McBeane Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 I am surprised I am the first to say this, but we have to start on the 2011 draft now?!? I know its a painfully long off-season, but still...
ax4782 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Mallett far from sucks. I think Locker will be the better QB, but that does not make Mallett suck. He did not fit the system that Michigan was implementing. He will be a good one as well. Yes, that was my point. Michigan ran a pro style offense when Mallett played there under Carr. He was worse than terrible in that system. He's playing in the college friendly spread now, and frankly, I haven't been that impressed with him in recent days either. Locker is, in my opinion, far better in every phase of the game than Mallett.
McBeane Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Plus, this time last year, we were talking about Snead being a Top 10 pick and dying to get him.... Now look at him, UDFA signed by Tampa Bay.
BillsfaninFl Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Will the top QB's still be there at the 32nd spot for us? You must have heard a rumor that a team is dropping out of the league. The Bills will have a top 5 draft position in 2011.
