kasper13 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 It's POLAK. It's Cheektowaga. I am one. I lived there. What Millen said is not offensive. Cheektowarsaw is offensive. Jaworski used to be called "The Polish Rifle". That's probably offensive nowadays. Whatever.
billsfan89 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Is "Polak" even offensive anymore? I am 100% Polish and even though I don't like the term Polak I am not going to get seriously offended about it. I have heard Polish jokes my whole life I think that the Polak stereotype is one that got overdone because Polish people didn't get offended by it and just took it and eventually people got tired of it. I am sure my dad heard the Polak jokes much more then me and I am certain my grandfather heard the jokes a lot more then my dad.
