ACor58 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 We got punked by the damn Raiders AND WE JUST TOOK A DAMN WIDE RECEIVER FROM UCONN
Doc Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 The Bills could have had him in round 2 or 3. Obviously they don't like the kid.
McBeane Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 We passed on him 3 times before... obviously there are lots of red flags with the kid
nodnarb Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 We got punked by the damn Raiders AND WE JUST TOOK A DAMN WIDE RECEIVER FROM UCONN Wow, more nonsense! Must be draft day!
Heitz Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Can't believe there's not more freaking out! A raw WR that's a good special teamer...
BuckeyeBill Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Since they took Easley like 5 seconds after the Raiders picked, meant they wouldn't have taken Campbell even if he was available. As far as Lynch... I'm glad Nix is not going to trade him to the first person that comes calling. Trust me... many teams will come calling before the season starts.
Thurman#1 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Not trading Lynch just cost us Bruce Campbell You're assuming anybody wanted him.
tecmobowlbills Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 I have had to scratch my head and think about every single selection the bills have made in this draft. I calmed down after yesterdays picks whether they are reaches or not but a wide receiver now? WTF! Are we ever going to address the offensive line?
BfloBillsFan Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Can't believe there's not more freaking out! A raw WR that's a good special teamer... Marcus Easley WR Connecticut Ranked as high as #91 overall prospect in 2010 draft, projected third rounder. (NFLDraftScout.com) 6' 3" 210 lbs Ran 4.39 in 40 yd dash -I would have much rather seen OT, but not sure who else is available. WR was a position of need In Buddy I trust!
bkc Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 why all the love for campbell 17 starts no production
NY Nole Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 I'm not too excited about Bruce Campbell. I don't mind at all we didn't pick him.
Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Look at what Tennessee got for LenDale White. Lynch, even in a limited role is much more valuable than the going rate.
Steely Dan Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 We got punked by the damn Raiders AND WE JUST TOOK A DAMN WIDE RECEIVER FROM UCONN Swallow the Thorazine and lie down. Campbell sucks. He looked great at the combine but there are a lot of questions about how he'll look on the field.
Rob's House Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 I'm not too broken up over Campbell. Winning football teams are built by taking the best football players, not just guys who are good at exercising.
JPS Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 We got punked by the damn Raiders AND WE JUST TOOK A DAMN WIDE RECEIVER FROM UCONN Campbell look like Tarzan, play like Jane.
Green Lightning Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Marcus Easley WR Connecticut Ranked as high as #91 overall prospect in 2010 draft, projected third rounder. (NFLDraftScout.com) 6' 3" 210 lbs Ran 4.39 in 40 yd dash -I would have much rather seen OT, but not sure who else is available. WR was a position of need In Buddy I trust! EasON guys like him. Big, strong and fast. We need a receiver. Another need filled.
Kingfish Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 We passed on him 3 times before... obviously there are lots of red flags with the kid I bet he wasn't even on the Bills draft board.
Lurker Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Campbell look like Tarzan, play like Jane. A great Dwight Adams line... Production trumps potential, except in the draft mags/websites/MBs.
ax4782 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 We needed another receiver, and obviously the Bills didn't think much of Campbell in the first, second or third rounds. Buffalo addressed a position of need with Easley, another big, fast receiver who could see action as the fourth guy this year. Good numbers for a team that played very well, even against much bette competition.
Bronc24 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Campbell look like Tarzan, play like Jane. Great quote. Look.....these guys have watched tons of tape on all these prospects. I am not going to listen to the Kipers or McShays of the world. I am going to measure this draft mid-season. The fact is, Bruce Campbell is an athletic freak. Another fact: Bruce Campbell is a HORRIBLE tackle. Yes, I have watched tape.
