Steely Dan Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 sign him in a heartbeat. would be good mentor for our young guys. Ummm, did you guys see this part of the article; But Faneca is starting to show his age. Football Outsiders managing editor Bill Barnwell recently produced a study on missed pass-blocking assignments. Faneca was the league's most frequently beaten left guard. He gave up seven sacks and three quarterback hurries. No thanks.

Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 If he's cut, there is no contract. What ever he agress to is what he'll get. Likely will be less than his current contract as stats showing how much he got beat will be argued, but ultimately he'll go to a combination of the highest bidder with some consideration to best fit for himself, and a little bit of location. Just read that as well. That and a $7.5 million contract? Pass.
Malazan Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 It does not seem to be the current regime's MO to sign under performing players.
bkc Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Pick him up, Levetre to LT? what do you think about grabbing him and moving wood to center
RealityCheck Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Pick him up, Levetre to LT? I'd like to get Faneca, but Levitre is no LT.
Peter Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 He may not be, but he probably performed better at LT than any of the others when he was forced to play there.
