I like what he is doing with the players off the field. The cheeseburger thing and walking in the park with his team is a way to shake things up. You don't want your players to get into a routine. The team went for a walk between meetings. It is a way to refresh their mind and help them focus.

The cheeseburge thing is a different story. When you go from the East coast to the west the players gain 3 hours. So lets say they leave arrive in Seattle at 3pm. It will be 6pm in NY. 6pm is a typical time to eat. So the players will arrive in seattle hungry. I think they had team meeting as soon as they got of the plane. You don't want the players distracted by hunger when they are supposed to be focusing on the upcoming game. The cheeseburgers were just a snack for the team.
