BenchBledsoe Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 No way anyone left in front of us takes him. Mel Kiper had Clausen rated as the 4th best player in this draft. Do we pass on him in the second round?? Can we afford NOT to take a shot?
John Cocktosten Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 I think Clausen is going to be a really good QB in the NFL and so do a lot of others like Mayock, Gruden and Kiper. But dude must have pissed off the wrong people because the whole NFL is playing a really bad joke on him right now.

Also, the QB I really like is Skelton who will be there (likely) in the 4th. Big strong kid with a huge arm for the WNY winds.

Same blindly optimistic, unrealistic, wishful thinking that we've had to hang our hopes on for the last decade: Our head coach needing to "coach em' up", a 4th round project QB, and MAYBE an OT in the 3rd round at the earliest??? Not gonna cut it I'm afraid.
