KevinRome Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 ... might they have moved to #9? The Bills put their pick in so quick (what's up with that?) that we'll never know if SD would have tried to get Spiller. SD swapped #1s and gave up a 2nd and a 4th. Could the Bills have had this deal or better?
Doc Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 No team was looking to trade into the top 10. And what I heard is that the Chargers were targeting Spiller at 12, but went with their next rated RB.
Albany,n.y. Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 The Bills wanted Spiller, they were not interested in trading the pick, so what difference does it make what SD was offering? Overall I'm against trade downs because you don't know who you're getting. I believe the team trading up always has the advantage because they know exactly who they're drafting & nobody can trade up & beat them out of their targeted guy once the trade is done.
