saundena Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Spiller, fine. Wasn't my #1 choice. What really bothers me about tonight though, is that Nix seemed so willing to give up SO much for Tebow. It just doesn't make sense. If it's true and they even considered giving up a 2,3 and 4, then I worry about the future of this team. Hopefully Ralph wasn't the one pushing it.

Dude, how can you be bothered so much by something that may not even be true? Lighten up.
DDD Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Spiller is a playmaker but not the right pick for this team with so many gapping holes elsewhere. Don't like it.

What does that work out to on the draft value chart? Is it even? If so, you should not worry about it.
bisonbrigade Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 With out a good QB this team will be 7-9 forever. Rb's don't win playoff games, QB's do. This draft is a total failure!
mob16151 Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Holy Crap theres a crap load of talent left on the board. I think we'll do fine moving forward. Loved the Spiller pick, still glad we missed on Tebow.

strive_for_five_guy Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Spiller is a playmaker but not the right pick for this team with so many gapping holes elsewhere. Don't like it. Makes it easier to trade away Lynch and pick up another lineman.
Thurman#1 Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Get off grudens jock, and realize Tebow is not an NFL ready QB. The Bills are not an NFL ready team. Might have been a good fit two or three years down the road.
Joaquin1119 Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Nix already said that lynch aint going anywhere again.so yea...
....lybob Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Spiller = fancy rims on my beater- I really hope Nix knows something we don't like Bell found his fathers genes and put on 25 lbs of muscle- I do have high hopes for Bell and Meredith but hope they can get at least two decent OLmen in the next three picks.
PromoTheRobot Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 The Bills are not an NFL ready team. Might have been a good fit two or three years down the road. We are so bad we are picking 9th. Yeah, we are the worst team in the NFL PTR
Mike In Illinois Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 It seemed like there were many more trades than the norm in the first round. I likened it to the NBA Draft except they trade players after they draft them. All the activity kept it interesting.
Steely Dan Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Saffold, Clausen, Kindle, Tate, Benn, McCoy, Campbell, Bowman, Norwood, Spikes, Ducasse, Campbell are all left on the board and one of those is guaranteed to fall to Buffalo. Hopefully, it's Saffold, Kindle or Clausen.
saundena Posted April 23, 2010 Author Posted April 23, 2010 You like Spiller and are worried about Tebow? Dont you have that backwards? No, no, you're missing my point. What bothers me is that the Bills seemed so willing to mortgage their future on a QB that would basically be a project. I'm bothered because that doesn't seem very smart of our F.O.
