billsfaningeneseo Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 How in the world does NE continue to get offers to trade down? It's like other teams just want to give up picks to them.
Alaska Darin Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 How in the world does NE continue to get offers to trade down? It's like other teams just want to give up picks to them. They almost always seem to be sitting in a spot where it makes sense. !@#$ers.
Malazan Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 They almost always seem to be sitting in a spot where it makes sense. !@#$ers. When you have talent and don't need a massive team wide upgrade, you can start to trade for picks, then turn those into picks the next season and repeat
Max997 Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 teams know they are always willing to trade down so why not call them first this is a gift for the cowboys if he doesnt act like an idiot
26CornerBlitz Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Cowboys had to get in front of the Ravens to get Dez.
billsfan714 Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 They actually probably answer the phone in the war room, while the Bills sprint to the podium and ignore other teams.

billsfan714 Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Im telling ya the Pats are gonna make like 5 selections in round 2, didnt they have multiple picks in that round prior the draft?

apuszczalowski Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 They don't have much when it comes to needs, so they can keep trading down and collecting picks. Its just that simple. When you are good, you aren't rebuilding, you can move around and try your luck later on with guys who don't have to start day one.
Kelly the Dog Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 They almost always seem to be sitting in a spot where it makes sense. !@#$ers. And havent drafted really well in 5-6 years.

I know crazy thinking.
Ramius Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 When you constantly trade picks and never actually make any selections, the picks become worthless. There's also a point of diminishing returns when you continually trade down.
billsfan714 Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 The 2nd round is the place to be, get good players without spending 1st round money.
