H2o Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...-talks-clausen/ I know people are going to whine about how ole Joe is a former Notre Dame QB, but he's also one of the greats to ever play the game. I think he knows a thing or two about QB's, more than Dilfer I would say.

Just say no to Claussen.

So I will trust the Bills staff opinion of the guy over Montana.
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Just say NO to people who like Notre Dame QBs. What does Clausen going to ND have anything to do with anything?
BufflaloBeastMode23 Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 His head coach Bill Walsh (smarter than good ol' Joe Montana) said that Trent Edwards was going to be really good. damn you beat me to that statement...
DrFishfinder Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 His head coach Bill Walsh (smarter than good ol' Joe Montana) said that Trent Edwards was going to be really good. Good at what?
DrFishfinder Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...-talks-clausen/ I know people are going to whine about how ole Joe is a former Notre Dame QB, but he's also one of the greats to ever play the game. I think he knows a thing or two about QB's, more than Dilfer I would say. And ole Joe (along with a host of others) brought up some solid points. Now....whether or not those points translate to Clausen becoming a top-tier NFL QB, well....that's another thing. If the Bills pick him, I sure hope so!
H2o Posted April 22, 2010 Author Posted April 22, 2010 Walsh and Montana are two different people. Just because Walsh said something about Trent does that mean Joe was thinking the exact same thing? I think not. Like I said, Montana knows about QB's as he wears a few SB rings and has a bust in the HOF. We pass on Clausen and we'll be sorry in a couple of years.
