Can this draft solidify a spot

Recommended Posts

It could be argued that last years draft actually filled some voids and filled them quite well. When you look at Byrd and Lankster, you have two good players that made an average secondary better. Wood and Levitre, assuming Wood has no improvement from last year which would be fine considering what he's gone through, at least made the interior manageable and held their own against Wilfork and Jenkins when they played. I like the speed of Nelson and another year under his belt and Schouman is pretty good and the running backs are solid.

Last year, some voids were filled and filled well through the draft. Playoff teams take some time to build this way and free agency this year got us an average linebacker and an average or slightly above defensive lineman so we've patched some holes.

Receiver, offfensive tackle, defensive lineman, and quarterback are the main holes which everyone who goes to this website already knows. If the Bills can solidify two of those four the way they did with Byrd for example, they are still not an elite team but at least moving in the right direction and a possible playoff spot. Fill three of them and well and they are in the playoffs.
