R. Rich
You'll take YES. And like it. BTW, I was surprised that the Saints would go after McCourty and not go after a DT like Brian Price or Terrence Cody. Ah well, McCourty is the real deal and a good pick. In the 30 minutes or so I had to try to assess NO's needs, I finally decided to go take a default stance , that a SB champ couldn't go wrong with a CB. KD in CA
Here. I like the Witherspoon pick; almost took him for the G'men, but our O-line is getting old fast.
stuckincincy
I like the Witherspoon pick; almost took him for the G'men, but our O-line is getting old fast. Thanks. I've seen several mocks that had him penciled in as the NYG pick. CIN is swinging Maualuga to MLB...they have decent LB depth with Brandon Johnson, Dhani Jones, and Rashad Jeanty. But Maualuga and Jeanty are coming off broken leg parts, so bets had to be hedged. They should be set for a while, with Rivers, Maualuga and Weatherspoon (if he pans out). Passing on TE Gresham was tough - CIN hasn't had a "name" there for years - but their arch-idiot OCs' game plans never features the position. Nothing wrong with OT Campbell - they say he has quite the upside. And NYG is in the same boat as CIN...a QB with a huge contract, the payout of which would be crippling if injury sidelined them. R. Rich
Hello? Anyone home? If not, I'll just shut it down. Work is just crazy today anyways and I am not able to monitor things as I'd like to.

stuckincincy
Done. We outta heeyah! The 1st rnd was fun. I grabbed a LB for CIN to feed my mania, gave BUF a top TE to face in Gresham, and I guess a DT/DE/OLB would have been a better pick for NO (YES )...I just couldn't resist grabbing McCourty. I had my peepers on a S for CIN in rnd 2 (hoping against hope that S. Fla's Nat Allen would slip) - then a Guard with their 1st 3rd rnd pick. They re-signed Bobbie Williams, but he's about done IMO. With the comp pick, if Gilyard is still there, I'd be tempted - but CB Joseph's contract is up next season.
