The links to both EBay and Paypal were correct in the email, they didn't re-direct to another site. And my mailing address was where I was living in 2001. But I've never requested personal checks for an auction. So is someone smply clearing out their email, or trying to scam me?

Here's one I got this week:

I checked my account and there was no activity - haven't used it in years, so I reported it to them as a stinking phish.

I purposely broke the email link so none of youse would click the linky.
