BillsGuyInMalta Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 I'm curious on the compensation. Anything more than a 4th and San Francisco got hosed. EDIT: According to Glazer its a "late rounder" in this year's draft.
Ever Since '86 Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 I'm curious on the compensation. Anything more than a 4th and San Francisco got hosed. EDIT: According to Glazer its a "late rounder" in this year's draft. Niners need a return man in the worst way
Lori Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Confirmed by Salguero from the Herald. Saturday (late-round) pick in return. http://miamiherald.typepad.com/dolphins_in...-francisco.html
C.Biscuit97 Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 What about the rest of the Ginn family? At least Ginn can be reunited with the guy the Fins passed on to take him, PAtrick Willis. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_Nx0BiO6Zc I guess that Beck to Ginn combo didn't quite pan out. What a terrible draft.
Hazed and Amuzed Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 I never thought Ginn could be a number 1 but he may actually complement the 49ers offense if he's used correctly. Crabtree, Davis and Gore should allow Ginn to be freed up. This may be the best thing that could've happened to Teddy boys career.
Coach Tuesday Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Ginn's hands are made of stone. This trade is meaningless.
lets_go_bills Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Meh. Ginn sucks. Frankly, I'm surprised they got anything for him.
papazoid Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 salary dump....ginn has a $2.7mil cap hit. SF may have only given up a 5th......but they are still paying him 1st round money......not good.
rafter Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Sounds like a 5th round pick. ESPN says 5th as well.
aristocrat Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 guinn will have a nice year behind davis and crabtree. he's got speed and will be left alone
H2o Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Remember that Ginn had his best day as a pro against the Bills. Does this change San Fran's thinking on possibly wanting Spiller now with a return man in place?
dollars 2 donuts Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Ted Ginn Jr to 49er's from NFL Network Radio no Link So in trade ends one of the more baffling draft picks by a team in the last few years.
mike oxhurtz Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Ted Ginn Jr to 49er's from NFL Network Radio no Link I would like to see Jamie Dukes (NFL network) reaction, since he bashed the fins fan that had his jaw to the ground when they drafted Ginn in the first round.
MattyT Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Remember that Ginn had his best day as a pro against the Bills. Does this change San Fran's thinking on possibly wanting Spiller now with a return man in place? One more partner to potentially trade down with!
Max997 Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 wait until you see this guy returns punts in the NFL
Alphadawg7 Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 So in trade ends one of the more baffling draft picks by a team in the last few years. Well to be fair, the guy they got slammed for not drafting has been an even worse pro...Brady Quinn...
