Whites Bay Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 When was the last multifunction park made? The baseball/football stadium is a dying breed. Also, what's the story with the Rams' dome. Wasn't that just built in the mid-late 90s? Ironically, that's the situation in which the Rams found themselves LAST time they were in Southern California. Anaheim Stadium hosted the Angels and Rams. I had season tickets from 1987-1990. Talk about a crap crowd experience. Everyone used to bail about 10 minutes after half time - winning or losing - just to beat the traffic. I just can't see the NFL ever EVER going back to Southern California. Just an awful, awful football experience.
a player to be named later Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Al Davis gloats about that from time to time. Wonder if we'll see the day when a team announce it is moving and then the Raiders block it and move back to LA.
Munch Posted April 17, 2010 Author Posted April 17, 2010 Just pick Tebow at #9 and make sure Jags go to LA. +1 for rational thinking! Best long term investment we can make!

AZ's stadium is a great template for this where they understood that a pure football stadium would not be enough
Just Jack Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Also, what's the story with the Rams' dome. Wasn't that just built in the mid-late 90s? The Edward Jones Dome opened November 12, 1995
