dgrid
for what it's worth, a very good read... http://walterfootball.com/jimmyclausenhate.php interview http://walterfootball.com/draftinterview_jimmyclausen.php I've already come around to having Clausen in Buffalo, and this makes me feel even better about it. Even tho he still has a weird shaped head!
CarolinaBill
great article, pretty much sums up the case for clausen, which I think is very strong. Hopefully Nix gets his man @ #

It's not the weird shaped head that should bother you but the little hands just think of that BK commercial where the guy can't hold the double cheese burger and that's Clausen with the football when it starts to get cold. Funny, he managed to do quite well in the elements at Notre Dame. His hands are more than capable of gripping the ball in any element. He also has the option of going the Kurt Warner route and wearing gloves. The concern regarding smaller hands, would be a propensity to fumble at the next level (just like Warner). I'll take that chance, as his positive potential far outweighs his negative. If he does fall to #9, I hope he's the guy...

Even tho he still has a weird shaped head! The only thing that makes me worried about Clausen is that I have heard that he has small hands which can hurt him in cold, windy and snowy games. But other than that I like Clausen. I think theres more positives than weaknesses. The only negatives ive heard is his cocky attitude and his hand size. Im still 50/50 on a OT or Clausen at pick #9. Then at pick #41 if we decide to take OT @ #9 then I would be 50/50 on a NT (Terrence Cody) or Tebow at pick #

You know what they say about small hands......could be a locker room problem if you know what I mean...

Fastro
Nice article, thanks for the link. I don't have a problem with drafting Clausen but I think we really need to address the O line. Its hard to pass when you are being sacked or hurried. I would like to see us address our line needs early and go after a mid rd QB but that's just me. "elements at Notre Dame" ? not sure what you refer to did not know it snowed at Notre Dame when 50 degrees in Nov before Thanksgiving Notre Dame did not play in Jan in the snow and cold Clausen is a Brady Quinn clone and he showed first hand how well he could play in the snow - just stay away
