I dunno, the Sabres have had an edge in 2, maybe 2.5 of the last 9 periods of hockey they have played...it doesn't feel right...Saturday's game was embarrassing.

Sad but true.

The most frustrating part is watching them play their asses off for the last four minutes of a game when they're down by a goal. Guys throwing weight around in the corner, forcing a weak clear, a defensemen at the point keeping it in, and throwing the puck to the net, where players are crashing and looking for a rebound. It's not rocket science and they obviously prove they can play with that urgency, they just choose not to do it for 56 minutes. It's to the point where when a forechecker for the Sabres actually lays a hit, you almost do a double-take.

You have to wonder what Miller is thinking after he's kept them in the game with 30+ saves, they're down 2-1, and suddenly they start to play hard. Because the difference in their aggression, when losing at the end of a game, is obvious.

Anyone else pissed off about those two power plays Boston had in the third period? Two minutes for checking?

Frustration, never consummation.

It's really not. Detached cynicism is much more rewarding. At least that way you get to laugh at the suckers.

GO YANKS.

I don't care about the Bills anymore. Trust me not caring feels much better.

And there we go. Miller OUT OF THE CREASE, and they score. Novel concept, protecting the goal when you're a goalie.

Yeah, goaltending is the big problem on this team.

Goalie had a 2-0 lead in the third. Team lost 3-2. You tell me.

Is it THE problem? No. Is it A problem, I think it is. All the Miller ballwashing is ridiculous. He's NOT a big-game goalie in the vein of Hasek, Brodeur or Roy.

He had some unbelievable saves in the first OT, but I thought the 2nd goal was pretty weak.........The OT goal, I'm not sure what he was doing - it seemed like he got frozen.
